- 175g unsalted Butter
- 175 dark chocolate
- 225g caster sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 100g plain Flour
- Half level tsp baking powder
- 40g Coco powder
- 50g chocolate chips
- Cut butter into cubes and brake chocolate up in to squares and place in a bowl over simmering water, do not allow the bowl to come in contacted with the water , when melted and mixed together allow to cool to room temperature
- In a mixer cream together the eggs and sugar until they become doubled in size and thick and creamy
- Pour the cooled chocolate and butter mix in the the egg and sugar mix and fold in until mixed, then sieve in the flour, Bp, and coco and fold in
- Add the chocolate chips
- Divide the mixture in to you brownie tin or into a lined 20cm high square tin and spread out
- Cook in a gas mk4 oven until cooked approx. 25 mins
- They are nice served with a warm chocolate sauce
